VSMI began as a custom automation and industrial equipment builder in 1995 meeting needs of a previous employer.  As word in the manufacturing community spread the business grew and new customers' requirements were met.  During this time VSMI expanded its equipment and expertise to provide manufacturing, industrial controls, PLC programming, and other associated services.

VSMI now provides services and equipment to a diverse group of customers that are found in the printing, paper, granite, building, wire & cable, toy, furniture, ceramics, and machine tool industries. We have repeatedly proven our engineering, design, and manufacturing excellence while maintaining unsurpassed quality.
